SaaS Sales - Account Executive

We are looking for a dynamic Account Executive to join our Sales Team!

Our team are a great bunch of people - a mix of experience, supportive like no other, wonderfully diverse and passionate about always making a difference.

Our purpose is to help everyday people access the financial system, while limiting criminal exploitation.

We've created a world-class SaaS product that solves our customers due diligence problems so that they can stay focused on running their business. A few of the great names we work with in New Zealand are Hobson Wealth, Blackbird, KPMG and Ray White (financial institutions, accountants, law firms, venture capitalists and real estate agents).

Since 2018 we have experienced exponential growth, secured amazing funding and have gone from a handful of staff to 130+ and based on our success across New Zealand and Australia we are excited to be launching in the UK.

Our Account Executive Role.

Our Team is led by Rich Eggleston. Rich is an amazing people leader with extensive experience in leading global sales teams that support each other so that together they can achieve outstanding results.

At First AML, our Sales team work in pods that are dedicated to a certain industry. They normally included 2 Account Executives and 1 Sales Development Representative.

As a team we love to collaborate - each of our sales team, partners with an onboarding specialist and customer success manager. This way of working creates a great team environment where it nurtures our passion for our customers.

This is where you come in:

• You’ll use your knowledge to sell our RegTech SaaS product
• You will be experienced in running the full sales cycle from prospecting through to signed contract
• You’re as comfortable finding your own new sales opportunities as you are working with leads created by a Sales Development team
• Pipeline management comes naturally to you, including high quality data hygiene in our CRM (Salesforce)
• You are able to drive sales through relationship building and establish meaningful industry partnerships
• Everyday you contribute to an environment where people can thrive through collaboration, mutual respect and learning from each other.

Does this sound like you?

• You are an absolute people person!
• You possess a good understanding of commercial deal structures and contract terms for negotiating best possible outcomes
• You are highly motivated with a proven track record of achieving excellent results
• 2+ years in a similar role (but we encourage you to apply even if you haven’t quite hit this)
• Experience in real estate or selling into real estate agents would be extremely beneficial
• You recognise opportunities that create exceptional results and have contributed to a culture where people can do their best work
• You have bucket loads of initiative, with an engaging, creative and professional approach to selling
• You are a whiz when it comes to getting the best out of CRM’s (Salesforce &

Recruitment Process.

We spend a good amount of time reviewing applications, especially as this is our first chance at getting to know you. If your application aligns with our values we will give you a call to learn a little more about you. Next, we will set up a virtual ‘meet & greet’ with one of our amazing team members. This is a great opportunity to chat about all things sales along with asking any questions about our team and culture too. Here, you may be invited to a more formal interview that will involve a sales related activity.
