Email Marketing Manager

We’re noissue, a global packaging platform that enables small businesses to showcase their brands through custom, circular packaging designed on our platform. We’re a distributed team, based all over the world, with key hubs in Asia, North America and the United Kingdom and an HQ here in New Zealand. In the last 18 months, our team has tripled in size, and we’ve now got over 100,000 customers globally.

Role summary:

We are looking for a talented and ambitious Email Marketing Manager who will own, shape and deliver noissue’s CRM strategy: from engaging with our customers, supporting product launches to testing and building lifecycle communications. The responsibilities of the role include:

  • Owning noissue’s CRM strategy incl. implementation

  • Communicate strategic vision, progress and performance of the various programs to senior stakeholders in a clear and structured manner

  • Manage noissue’s customer database with a focus on retention and engagement. Define and analyze customer segments and create bespoke optimisation plans

  • Driving forward the implementation and optimisation of event triggered user journeys, including testing new campaigns and flows and understanding their impact

  • Managing our regular newsletters across all our communities, including testing audience segmentation

  • Analyze and report back performance and use data and insights to identify and implement opportunities to increase engagement across the customer’s lifecycle journey

  • Manage and optimize our briefing process - defining how new campaigns are requested, prioritized, managed & delivered and ensuring this process runs smoothly and efficiently across the business

  • Working closely with the marketing and product teams to ensure alignment and agreement on comms and prioritization

  • Developing and leading a culture of testing and experimentation


What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Mid-senior level experience in a B2B CRM role

  • Proven track record of successfully planning, developing and executing end-to-end lifecycle campaigns

  • Customer-first mindset with a deep understanding of customer segmentation

  • Comfortable working with different departments and senior stakeholders across multiple offices

  • Self-starter and impact-driven who enjoys taking ownership of projects, solving problems independently and has a bias for action

  • Technically-savvy with a creative eye: Comfortable with technical matters, but also care about how our comms look and what message we send to our customers

  • Strong analytical mindset with a passion for using data to improve campaign performance

  • Ideally with experience using Hubspot

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
