Head of Business Operations & Performance

Timely has come a long way since our inception in 2011. We’ve grown an online community of over 50,000 beauty professionals across 100 countries that use our cloud-based business management software to book over 35 million appointments a year.

In 2021, we were thrilled to join forces with EverCommerce, a US-based leading service commerce platform who offer a suite of integrated SAAS solutions to over 500,000 customers globally.

Now, we’re ready to level up and take our success to the next level.

Our Mission? Build the leading platform for beauty professionals.

We’re more than a software company, we’re creating a community to power the world’s most loved client experience, and we’re looking for the right people to jump on the rocket ship with us and lift off.

This is where you come in!

The core purpose of the Head of Business Operations & Performance is to drive business performance by taking a lead role in embedding a data-first culture, building strategic and commercial capabilities, identifying and implementing efficiencies and effectiveness across Timely's processes.

You'll be confident to leverage systems where it makes sense and optimise predictable revenue growth through transparency and execution rigour. You'll have a strength in building strategic capability, prioritisation capabilities and commercial acumen across the organisation with an ability to tap into the resources available to Timely through our acquisition by EverCommerce.

This role sits within our Senior Leadership team and will see you collaborating with Execs in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans. Through facilitating a data-driven strategy process, and most importantly forming a right sized strategy implementation framework, the Head of Business Operations & Performance provides clear accountabilities and visibility of performance across the organisation.

We’d love to hear from you if you have…
  • Experience that demonstrates mental agility, strong strategy skills
  • An ability to work autonomously. We are a relatively lean organisation so you’ll be expected to roll your sleeves up on a fairly regular basis.
  • An excellent commercial mind with broad experience influencing an array of stakeholders.
  • A good strategist and creative thinker - commercially astute and easily able to grasp and contribute to our wider business imperatives.
  • Solution focused thinking, good at balancing strong theory with practical application
  • Outstanding communication skills and are a team player
  • A strong ability to gain the respect and trust of people of all different skill sets and levels of seniority
  • Logically minded with an ability to bring robust and fit for purpose structure, processes, governance and frameworks that drive operational efficiencies and drive autonomy and empowerment throughout the organisation.
  • Proven ability to deliver with limited resources.
  • Proven ability to develop innovative solutions that lead to increased productivity
  • 10+ years work experience post qualification
  • 5+ years’ experience in a strategy development or execution role preferred.
  • 5+ years experience in senior leadership roles
  • Saas business experience in a leadership capacity a bonus
