About the Role
 
The Lead Product Analyst is part of the wider Analytics team, and will work day to day with a cross-functional product team (including Product Managers, Engineers and Designers), to influence product decisions and help drive continual improvements to our products. The position will support data-driven decision making through the timely delivery of analysis and recommendations surrounding business initiatives and digital assets. This will involve reporting and visualising product performance, the support of product experimentation and A/B testing and exploring new product opportunities. The position will have an active role in our analytics community; contributing with knowledge sharing, pairing with other analysts, supporting hiring and onboarding in a distributed set up. 
 
Duties and Responsibilities
    • Own the full scope of analytics in the context of your team: report on and visualize product performance, support product experimentation and A/B testing, and explore new product opportunities
    • Define measurement frameworks, and develop dashboards for consumption by the product team and cross-functional leadership.
    • Define and advocate metrics to track product health, and implement highly technical data solutions to tackle specific business challenges.
    • Proactively explore data and identify opportunities to help accelerate new product development and improve existing products.
    • Address ambiguous problems and formulate hypotheses into actionable and well-designed experiments.
    • Own the design and analysis of experiments to enable data-driven decision making.
    • Continually support product teams, and build a culture of data-informed decision making across the business.
Skills & Qualifications
    • 5 years + experience working as an Analyst
    • BSc/BA in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or other quantitative fields is desirable
    • Ability to communicate complex information and ideas in a way that is easily understood
    • A strategic thinker, with strong commercial acumen
    • An SQL/Redshift expert, highly skilled in data analysis, business intelligence and data visualisation (Tableau or similar)
    • Strong experience with A/B testing frameworks and hypothesis testing
    • Web Analytics platforms and tools e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics
    • Programming languages (Python/R) are desirable
    • A genuine passion for analytics, product, and all things data
