Role Purpose
  • Work closely with our founders, Chief Product Officer, Lead Software Engineer and other developers to produce world-class software
  • Deliver customer-facing features that produce real-world benefits to positively impact wellbeing in schools
  • Help adapt and scale our product(s) as we grow
  • Actively participate in and assist with achieving all company and department goals

Role Overview
  • Collaborating with designers, engineers and founders to build awesome web and mobile applications
  • Writing code that is clean, highly maintainable and well-tested
  • Managing the deployment and maintenance of the product
  • Operating as a team player
  • Working to continuously improve the codebase and architecture
  • Taking responsibility for the technical delivery of a reliable product that customers love
  • At least 3 years of development experience working on production-ready applications. However, if you want to showcase your personal side projects, we strongly recommend you add your GitHub account information to your job application.
  • Previous full-stack development experience. Solid understanding of frontend and backend development, with emphasis on DevOps and architecture design.
  • Experience with some of the technologies we use:
  • TypeScript/JavaScript
  • Node.js
  • GCP, AWS or Azure for deploying and managing applications.
  • SQL
  • DevOps processes and technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform)
  • GraphQL and Restful APIs
  • React (or other JS framework)
  • Testing processes and frameworks
