We are looking for an experienced IT Support Analyst/Desktop Technician to join our team and lead IT support for our Auckland office.

About the Role

The Information Technology team is tasked with the sole focus of supporting the business so that we can provide a great product and support experience to all of our customers. The internal teams at Pushpay have a high dependence on their information systems. The Pushpay Support Analyst is responsible for ensuring that our staff are given the best support so they can leverage the maximum outcomes that our toolsets can provide.

  • Management of IT tech set up and onsite support for our Auckland office (100 users)
  • Interact with users via telephone, e-mail, IM/chat, and social tools, to provide technical support across hardware and software issues
  • Perform user administration duties such as account creation, password resets and access controls
  • Provide 2nd level support on escalated workstation, telephony, and mobile related issues and requests
  • Fact find and troubleshoot issues for C-Suite and VIP executives in person and remotely
  • Management of key eco-system platforms such as JAMF and BetterCloud
  • Install, configure, test & maintain operating systems, application software & system management tools
  • Assist in maintaining security, backup, and redundancy strategies
  • Build automation into the system around items such as patching, user creation and back ups
  • Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
  • Help ensure all IT systems are within PCI compliance in conjunction along with the Data Security team
  • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
  • Facilitation of company wide and individual team meetings, provisioning and preparing workstations and workstation related equipment
  • Creating and maintaining wiki documentation for internal staff and processes 
  • Management of video conferencing hardware (Google Meet and Zoom)

Key skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working in an end-user desktop support role or computer operations environment
  • Experience with these core tools: G-Suite/Google Workspace, Apple products (iPhones, MAC machines), JAMF, BetterCloud
  • Experience with any of these is a plus: Meraki, Okta, CloudLock, Slack, Lastpass and Atlassian
  • Experience configuring IP based print / scan solution
  • Experience and understanding of enterprise network solutions including familiarity with troubleshooting wireless access points and switches while being able to provide key information to engineers for remediation of issues quickly
  • Strong communication and attention to detail
  • Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Highly functional understanding in key eco-system platforms including administration, workflow building and troubleshooting
  • GSuite Certification 
  • Tertiary qualification in Computer Systems or Networking and Infrastructure is a plus
