We are seeking great talent to join our thriving New Zealand headquarters in Auckland to help us execute critical changes to future-proof the FileInvite platform.  Work in a team invested in product development and product-led growth. The Job 

The ideal candidate is an energetic self-starter with the ability to collaborate and work with other team members to facilitate and execute a broad spectrum of key business analyst functions.

The role will be pivotal in translating solution needs into actionable user stories as well as the involvement in a wide range of initiatives directly impacting business goals. Working for a highly skilled Product Leader with global experience, you will have the opportunity to continue to develop and refine your skills. 

This is a contract position for a fixed 12-month period. We currently operate a hybrid working environment working from home and our corporate office.   

 The Role

We’re looking for an experienced technical and business analyst to join our growing product team and deliver outstanding products. This is an opportunity to put your expertise into practice in a fast-moving environment where learning, execution and speed are core values.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of technical and business analysis principles, the ability to collaborate and communicate with stakeholders both inside and outside the company, and solid Agile experience in working with software engineers.

  • Uncover and represent user needs to drive critical platform changes.
  • Assist in prioritising product features and capabilities to drive the product roadmap and value delivery.
  • Create detailed user stories/use cases including business and technical requirements with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Work with development teams and engineering/product stakeholders to elaborate and refine stories so they are ready to deliver. 
  • Be the product and customer advocate in the Agile delivery teams to achieve optimum development velocity.
  • Drive delivery of product features and customer requirements to business-critical timelines.

  • Proven experience with at least 3 years in a business/technical analyst role.
  • Proven ability to elicit clear requirements from a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet challenging deadlines.
  • An ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
  • Collaborative approach to work, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Reliable, highly organised and willing to roll your sleeves up to deliver results with a resilient and flexible attitude.

What sets you above the pack

  • Previous experience in high-growth SaaS businesses. 
  • Demonstrable experience in API-based services and documentation. Ability to advise customers on implementation best practices.
  • Experience in business optimisation, problem-solving, or strategic solution roles with progressive responsibility.
  • Understanding and empathy for customers and end users.
  • Demonstrable experience gathering and consolidating requirements from cross-functional groups.
  • Exceptional process and organizational skills with the ability to mobilize change.
  • Experienced in both lean and agile methodologies, familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Figma, Trello and similar tools.
  • Understanding of OKR Management methodology.
  • Dynamic and creative - will think outside the box to help us grow.
  • Understanding of how a range of institutions work and ability to apply this knowledge.
