Requirements

This newly created Senior Data Product Manager role is unique. It will work across our business to set the new data strategy with senior business leaders.

You’ll be on a mission to organise the “wild data” out there into structured, accessible, and business-ready tools. You will be responsible for creating intelligent solutions that will enable Serko to ignite its scale and provide internal growth tools that will be the Eyes and Ears of the company, bringing to life data and what it means for Serko.

You’ll work closely with our partner Booking.com for business, using their experience and knowledge to embed metrics into the products to allow measurement of KPIs and assess how well our technology and tools are performing.

Influencing teams’ roadmaps by actively encouraging a ‘data-driven culture.’

Working with our Head of Product Operations to create and oversee an experimentation framework for our business.

Working with key stakeholders to ensure their metric needs are considered throughout the business, our customers and partners.

What you'll bring
  • A unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to own a product and make that vision a reality.
  • Senior Product Manger experience, preferably in both B2B & B2C products
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex requirements in a precise and clear manner
  • Outstanding leadership skills with a high sense of ownership and decision-making skills
  • Experienced in writing product specifications and dataset design, partnering with data analytics, data engineering and data science teams
  • Preferably experience with data modelling, analytics and reporting.
  • Embedding metrics into the products to allow measurement of KPIs and assess how well our technology and tools are performing.
  • Influencing teams’ roadmaps by actively encouraging a ‘data-driven culture.’
  • Ability to work at a detailed product level and step up and work at a product portfolio level.
  • Confidence and ability to gather feedback from internal and external sources (key clients, our sales and client services team to spend time understanding client demands, problems and help innovate solutions for the broader market).
  • Can understand the strategic market positioning of the product.
