About the Role

We’re looking for our next Account Executive (Enterprise) to help grow opportunities and leads so we can reach our goal of helping 100 million people. Our ideal human is someone who is passionate about wellbeing and keen to make an impact.

The primary responsibility of the Account Executive role will be to identify, engage and partner with leading organisations across Australasia that fit the Groov beachhead strategy. You will get to know their business, their goals and their challenges. You will be involved in taking the prospect on a journey - from problem awareness to understanding that Groov is the solution their organisation needs.

You will be fundamental in setting these organisations up for success and will be responsible for selling the dream and creating practical steps in order to achieve it. As the Account Executive, you’ll also ensure Groov is in the best possible position to scale while making our customers successful. We have our company’s sales playbook for you to follow, which you’ll contribute to refining and evolving. You will report to our Chief Sales Officer as part of the sales team and work closely with the customer success function of the business to make sure Groov is able to reach its mission and Groov’s company goals are turned into a reality.

What you’ll do
  • Prospect potential enterprise customers across ANZ, as per the sales plan and targets
  • Utilise and suggest improvements to the Groov sales playbook
  • Find ways to reach prospective customers in an efficient and effective manner
  • Qualify (and disqualify!) prospects as per the sales plan
  • Coordinate key customer/account activities
  • Solve customer problems and lead key negotiations with target accounts
  • Influence and assist sales strategy meetings and updates
  • Assist customer success with upsell opportunities to the existing customer base
  • Assist with planning enterprise sales strategies
  • Use the company CRM meticulously
  • Circulate prospect product feedback

  • Meeting and exceeding your targets
  • Learning and developing your understanding of wellbeing and behavioural science so your conversations with customers/prospects are highly impactful

  • You’re able to prioritise tasks and workload in order to ensure you’re meeting all the demands of a fast-paced start-up
  • You're a people person who is able to connect on a genuine level with people from all walks of life
  • You’re a lifelong learner and are constantly curious about the world that surrounds you
  • Ideally, you have a minimum of 5 years of enterprise/midmarket/complex sales experience.
