We are looking for a Senior Product Manager who will lead the strategic success of Matomo, the leading open-source web analytics solution used by 1 million websites that offers users full control over their data and built-in privacy.

In your first year, you will work closely with the leadership team & co-founders (CEO & CTO) to establish a clear product vision and roadmap. You will play a crucial role in improving our product delivery processes, ensuring that we can achieve strategic success for Matomo. As you grow into your role, you will assume full responsibility for leading the product team and achieving strategic success for Matomo.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a product strategy that increases user engagement and drives revenue growth.
• Work cross-functionally with the design, engineering, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality product features on time and within budget.
• Conduct market research and analyze user data to identify trends and opportunities for product improvement.
• Set measurable goals and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of product initiatives and iterate as needed.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and customers to ensure alignment on product vision and roadmap.
• Manage a team of product managers and provide mentorship and guidance to help them grow in their roles.
• Own the SaaS funnel, optimizing user experience and driving conversion rates from free trial signup to activation to conversion, including website, emails, and product UX.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies to inform product development decisions and identify new opportunities for growth.
• Act as Product Owner for one of our four software teams.

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience managing a fast growing SaaS or open source product at scale.
• Deep experience in product and delivery, working with people at all levels in complex environments.
• Extensive experience leading agile software development teams.
• Experience setting and delivering product strategy.
• Advanced knowledge of web technologies.
• Experience with and understanding of web analytics technologies.
• You are passionate about data analytics and have deep analytical thinking.
• Proven track record of leadership through coaching and getting the best out of people.
• Exceptional facilitation skills.
• Excellent planning skills and experience.
• Aligned with the organization’s caring and passionate culture.
