The Role

The Senior Manager, Brand Development is responsible for developing and guiding the values, behaviours, standards, and external messaging required to positively promote and build lasting value in our Seequent brand and product brands.

You will work across the business to ensure our brand and brand values are developed, presented, and continuously evolving throughout all content and collateral we produce as a company. This includes but is not limited to our digital experience, marketing collateral, training, corporate clothing, value stories, partnerships, events, and external customer communication. This role will manage the Events, Content Strategy, and Creative teams that support the wider Customer Experience team goals.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Oversee the development of strategic brand values, content, and guidelines in alignment with other senior stakeholders in the organisation. This includes both visual and written guides, as well as assets for usage throughout the business.
  • Manage the team responsible for the creative process, which may include aspects of visual, graphic, and web design in conjunction with the wider Customer Experience team and external agencies. Ensure that all outputs are on brand.
  • Hold accountability for the creation of customer and corporate content. This includes web content, social content, value stories, case studies, and other thought leadership pieces as required.
  • Oversee the events team to ensure a global framework and guidelines are in place, while driving the corporate events strategy to support the overall business growth goals.
  • Improve the scalability and effectiveness of Seequent’s Brand function to adequately support the sectors and regions.
  • Demonstrate proactive and positive leadership. This includes providing the team with training, development, and motivation to succeed.

In order to be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A suitable tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, or any other business-related field.
  • At least 5+ years of experience leading teams and providing leadership, support, coaching and training within a brand and marketing discipline.
  • A proven track record of leading and providing negotiation and conflict management, with a balanced approach to influencing and persuading.
  • Ability to demonstrate structured planning, and processing skills that identify and deliver on predictable outcomes.
  • Strong focus on driving results and delivering against commercial target, with the ability to also plan and act strategically.
  • Ability to understand the products, markets, customers, and competitors and what drives their behaviours.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, be highly effective at developing strong credibility and working relationships with the ability to receive feedback from diverse sources to grow personally and professionally from it.
