The Role

This is a great opportunity for a reporting analyst to join on a fixed term basis providing parental leave cover for 12-14 months. 

Seequent has a complex multinational workforce and our people are most critical asset in the future success of the company.  This role will work as part of the HR team, but across both HR and finance, helping Seequent make some of our most important decisions as we grow.   This is a highly varied role spanning recruitment, budgeting and forecasting, performance, compensation, and HR operations. 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Design and build workforce and budget reporting which drives actions by providing meaningful insights
• Build, roll out, and maintain processes which improve HR Operations, including recruitment, compensation, performance, and planning
• Help run the annual incentives and annual salary review processes
• Participate in the build and analysis of specific strategic reporting projects, including gender pay analysis and compensation/performance
• Build supporting documentation for new processes and manage the communication, implementation, and training of employees, managers, and the HR team

In order to be successful in this role, you should have:

• Strong skills in Excel, including being able to use formulas to consolidate data from multiple different sources and design segmented reporting from the consolidated data
• Good logical problem-solving skills when designing metrics and processes
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Particularly being able to communicate new ideas and the rationale(s) behind them
• Exposure to HR processes or operations a benefit, but not essential
• Exposure to budgeting and forecasting a benefit, but not essential
