Arcimboldi is a Kiwi/Italian eatery open for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as offering delicious cabinet and takeaway food. We have a great reputation with the locals and wider Wellington community, with good vibes and popular food.

We are seeking a full time chef who can jump straight in and support the small kitchen crew with all duties. Someone who is reliable, consistently produces delicious food and has some hustle is needed.

Duties include: making pizza, baking, general food prep, cold side service, supporting the kitchen team in all areas to create consistently, delicious dishes. Our menu is large so the prep work is varied and done by all staff. Hands on training is provided where needed and progression is encouraged.

Must be available to work Friday nights and weekends. Someone interested in a long term position is essential. Own transport is encouraged, as we are not centrally located.

Arcimboldi is closed Mondays and Tuesdays so all staff get a guaranteed two day weekend!

You will be responsible for keeping the kitchen work areas clean at all times, washing dishes, prep work, ingredient management and assisting the chefs to deliver a dining experience like no other!

Who are we looking for?

A positive personality - someone with energy and enthusiasm;
A fast and efficient worker with the ability to follow directions;
Someone physically fit as there will be bending, lifting and carrying of heavy pots and bulk ingredients and;
Someone with a full New Zealand driver's licence - this is preferable and not essential.
